Stuffed Dough Pyramid

ขนมเทียน ไส้เค็ม
(Kha-Nhom Tian)
It probably doesn't sound or look like your typical dessert, but Thai people do eat this as snacks! Unlike the Kha-Nhom Sai-Sai, it is on a more savoury note with mung bean as the main body on the inside; and with pumpkin paste and rice flour wrapping around it, giving the outside a natural yellow-orange colour. This is the one Thai dessert/snack you should try once or you wouldn't know if this is a future favorite you may come to love!
