The name of this dessert is pretty self-explanatory. Although it is not completely traditional from the ancient times in Thailand but these cookies can often be found at local markets in Thailand in the present time. Through times, Thai people utilize wheat flour that has been brought into Thailand by other countries, since wheat is not locally grown in Thailand. Hence, Thai people created a fusion with local tropical fruit of Pineapple, resulting in a sweet combination!
